Objective:
Create and pitch two ideas for Covey Rise: a coffee table book and a magazine. Develop a theme and style guide. Imagery can be FPO but should communicate the vision.
Midnight Hour
Objective:
Pitch an idea for a coffee table book for Kessler Hotels. The book can focus on the collection of hotels or on one specific hotel. Photography can be FPO or photos from the site.
Description:
Midnight Hour is a coffee table book for the Grand Bohemian in Greensville, SC. It will be available for guests in the gift shop or available for order.
Kessler strives to give guests awe-inspiring and memorable experiences. The book centers around specific moments and experiences at the hotel. Each section has a time stamp that indicates when the accompanying photo was taken and either a description of what was happening during the specified time of the photoshoot or the history behind what is depicted.
The cover is spot gloss along with the Grand Bohemian’s emblem on the inside.
Unfinished Objects
Objective:
Pitch an idea for a magazine. This can be a refresh of an existing magazine or a new one.
Description:
Unfinished Objects is a quarterly knitting magazine that gives out two free patterns (big and small projects), features ethical yarn sellers, has a community spotlight, and features interviews with established or experienced knitters.
