IASAA

Description

IASAA aims to improve the stewardship of antibiotics across Alabama and is an all-day symposium for pharmacists, physician assistants, physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurses. IASAA requested a logo that could be used on promotional items. A vertical and icon version of the logo were created, along with solid variations.

The logo is based on the shape of a pill and is divided into quarters. The top and bottom divison is made to recreate the typical shape of a pill, and then the additional left and right division created to resemble a shield. Part of IASAA’s goal is to help pharmacists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers educate others and protect them from antibiotic misuse. The cross in the middle is to tie the logo with the medical field and with the shield motif.

Blue and green were used to relate the logo to the medical field, but a soft red is used to help the logo stand out. The colors, especially the red, needed to soft, but bright, so as not to create too startling or too grim of an appearance.

CAlendar Graphics

Objective:

These calendar graphics were created to help keep students and faculty informed of upcoming college events from meetings and career days, to football games and college-hosted tailgates. The graphics are based on Auburn’s brand guidelines while taking a simple, modern design style.

The calendars are updated weekly and monthly. The weekly calendars give a more detailed look, while the monthly calendar is more broad and utilizes icons.
