Project Description:

“The Cottage” is a sandbox game for the Nintendo Switch that follows Eleanore, a young mage, and her cat Pancake as they refurbish a dilapidated cottage. The game is low-stakes and relaxing, which is reflected in the bright, but natural color palette. The game incorporates magic, and thus colors such as purple and pink are used along with sparkles and swirls. The inside box art is a map that would appear in-game and pulls from old map-making. The boxart was made to reflect the game’s relaxing and whimsical gameplay.
