Project Description:

I.e. is an app for students with dyslexia; it makes course material more accessible and easier to see. The app features customization for font choice, color, and size. A muted purple and orange are the main colors with an off-white accent—this is to reduce the contrast between text and “page” color.

The study habits, teaching strategies, and overall experience of students with dyslexia heavily influence the design. Due to dyslexia affecting each person differently, the customization options allow the user to pick the options that are most readable. Other features are a read-aloud button, icons, and outlines for course material.
